The collection includes diaries written in Adair County, Missouri, by Oran Linder for 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1971-72, 1974-80, 1981-83, 1983-86, 1986-88, 1988-91, and 1991-92. The 1944 diary was written by Oran's father, O.R. (Bob) Linder. They were donated to the Special Collections & University Archives in Pickler Memorial Library at Truman State University by Oran's son, Harold Linder.
