Bill Spindler FINAL RESTING PLACE White Chapel Cemetery (Inside of Memorial Service Card) Please Record My Attendance NAME Address THE BEYOND It seemeth such a little way to me Across to that strange country, The Beyond; And yet, not strange, for it has grown to be The home of those of whom I am so fond. And so for me there is no Death; It is but crossing, with abated breath, A little strip of sea, To find one's loved ones waiting on the shore More beautiful, more precious than before. Why have you left us, darling daddy. Why have you moved your barque so soon? Was it to avoid the struggle, That attends life's toilsome. Had you, dear one, pleasant glimpses Of the night angelic throng, Where the blessed are forever Joining in triumphant song? William Wesley, was born October 11, 1885, and departed this life when 37 years, 7 months and 6 days old, May 17, 1923 at his home in Galesburg, Ill. In early life he gave his heart to God and in his 20th year united with the church and lived up to his high ideals of life as he saw them. He was united in marriage Dec. 21, 1921 to Miss Mary Kate Bragg. To this union was born one daughter. The funeral service was held at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs J. A. Hoffman, conducted by Rev. Kimbrell. He was layed to rest at Walnut Grove cemetery at Paris. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his wife and little daughter, Dulcenia, age 2 years, a mother, father, three sisters, one brother and a host of friends.
