It contains a suggestive diagram for teaching the drama in schools with a list of dramatic literature appended. "Oral English in the High School" Teaching, No. 40, State Normal School, Emporia, Kansas. A sensible discussion of values and aims in teaching oral English, dramatics, debate, etc. Also contains list-short but well selected-of plays for high school. "Plays of Missouri Valley," edited by C. M. Wise, Kirksville, Mo. ($1.20). The volume contains a series of consolidation plays and simple instructions as to stage makeups, settings, etc. with a fairly extensive list of plays.
