"Nemoscope" was published by what was then Northeast Missouri State Teachers College to encourage members of faculty to write for an institutional publication. It was also used to promote the philosophy of the college. It eventually became an alumni magazine featuring articles and updates about graduates. Fall 1946 was the premier edition, and Spring 1987 was the final "Nemoscope." It was rechristened "Northeast Review" with the Winter 1988 edition.
